Karla Alvarez
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, MS, LPCC, LMFT
Hi, I’m Karla! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology as well as my Master’s in Counseling Psychology with dual training in Marriage & Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling.
I love working with individuals, couples, and families who are looking for a safe, supportive space to grow, heal, and reconnect with themselves or their loved ones. I’m trained in EMDR therapy and certified in Somatic Breathwork, which means I can bring together powerful evidence-based therapies like CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy with calming, body-based practices that help release stress and trauma.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can breathe, laugh, and be real while also learning tools that truly make life feel lighter. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or simply looking for new ways to take care of your mind and body, I’d love to walk alongside you on your journey toward balance and resilience!
